When compiling the 2013 anthology, we were guided by the poems proper rather than their authors, their status, authority or prizes. As modern critics would say, we made the choice in favour of the text rather than the author’s identity. True, it is a poem and not the poet that stands out on the extremely diverse scene of our contemporary poetry. It is likewise true that little by little the poets, who had lost their function for various reasons, are coming back to life from their marginalized recent past.
