What is poetry? What does it mean when the poets of the last century are called modern poets? When does a poem become old, if it ever does? Can it be alive years after it was written? How similar are the poems written by the poets of the same surname under the same circumstances or in the same environment?

 

The present collection is an attempt to answer these questions on the example and experience of the poets all having the surname Arabuli, who have been publishing their works since the 1950s. In the hope of discovering something new, yet unnoticed in the poetry published in various periodicals over these years, Giorgi Arabuli resolved to put together the poems by: Aluda Arabuli, Bagatur Arabuli, Berdia Arabuli, Gela Arabuli, Giorgi Arabuli, Gogita Arabuli, Temo Arabuli, Irakli Arabuli, Koba Arabuli, Merab Arabuli, Mindia Arabuli, Noshrevan Arabuli and Shabura Arabuli.
