Mamuka Tsiklauri’s poems are unlikely to please those seeking attractive illusions and peace of mind. In the book the illusions are shattered, hopes are broken, the peaceful garden is withered. Instead, the poet offers a bitter fruit from the Tree of Knowledge, especially to those inclined to self-analysis and contemplation. The poet reverts to free verse to fully express his vision of the world, his mind frame and analytical reasoning.
