It consists of literary essays about six cemeteries in different parts of the world, each accompanied by its own macabre story. These can be frightening, especially that the reader will meet Darya Saltykova (aka Saltichikha), Oscar Wilde, Karl Marx and even the fictitious detective Erast Fandorin.
